WANTED: Front Desk Agent

RESPONSIBILITIES: You are the front line of great service! 
 
 -  Greet guests at the front desk. The welcoming committee! 
 -  Register guests and assign rooms. 
 -  Provide for fast and efficient check-in and check-out.
 -  Provide general information, directions, and assistance with any routine problems concerning reservations, room changes, etc. 
 -  Introduce VIP’s to Managers on Duty.
 - Program and issue guest room keys.
 - Enter registration and guest information into the Fidelio computer system.
 - Receive incoming mail messages, then log & distribute them accordingly.
 - Check and verify credit requirements for payment.
 - Perform Cashiering functions.

 

REQUIREMENTS: You gotta have these Essential Skills:
 
 -  One year related experience (or a combination of education and experience that provides the skills necessary for this position)
 -  High school graduate.
 -  Fluent in English
 -  Fluent in French and/or other languages
 -  Previous hotel training and experience
 - Complete detailed tasks with accuracy
 - Work under extreme pressure and meet deadlines
 - Use good judgment
 - Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
 - Use tact, courtesy, make decisions, maintain confidentiality, and enthusiasm in any work situation
