New York, NY – Red, Blue, Yellow, Green.
At jack’s, they’re not just colors. They’re a way of life. From the mood
lighting to the carpet swirls to the specialty cocktails, jack’s has
your primary colors covered. The new bar located just off the lobby at Le
Parker Meridien offers a colorful and clever alternative to the traditionally
stark midtown hotel bars.
Red. Dramatic. jack’s curved metal wall accented with
neon lights intrigues guests from the moment they enter the lobby, while the
circular layout of jack’s is capped by a wood-domed oculus suspended from
the ceiling. The custom Italian chairs, barstools and tables with frosted glass
continue the jewel-toned color palette, with Venetian glass snack bowls and cut
crystal glassware imported from Finland adding an international flair.
Blue. Soothing. “jack’s is not a hotel lounge,” declares
Steven Pipes, Le Parker Meridien’s General Manager. “Whereas most hotels have
areas of the lobby called lounges that might serve afternoon tea, a selection
of cocktails and sometimes foods, we have created a true bar where guests can
smoke, drink and enjoy time with their friends.”
Yellow. Comforting. The intimate setting is perfect for relaxation
and recovery as you indulge in jack’s provocative selection of wine and spirits.
“We purposely feature a limited number of unusual, yet world-glass, alcohol so
that guests will have not just a beer, but and experience,” Pipes continues.
Menu highlights include the 25-ounce Belgian beer Duvel (a corruption of the
Flemish world for “Devil”) that comes capped with a champagne cork. Rather than
choosing traditional vodka, jack’s features Polish Belvedere, a spirit
that has been distilled five times for smoothness and flavor.
Green. Go. Add some color to your life. Experience jack’s.
Let the knowledgeable staff guide you through the unique selections. And those
black-and-white framed smiling faces on the back wall? Just our way to test
your knowledge of famous Jacks. Let us know if we missed your favorite. jack’s,
